When you look at worship in the Old Testament, it always always involved sacrifice of some kind. Literally, the first time worship is mentioned in the Bible it is in the context of sacrifice. But it’s no longer the Old Testament era…when Jesus came, lived, died, and rose from the dead it became possible for us to have a personal relationship with God and be saved.
